The most important characteristics of a Fluorimeter cell is that it has at least three windows polished, has no background fluoresence and works with your available sample volume. To meet your needs, we make Fluorimeter cells in many different configurations, sample volumes, materials and pathlengths.

Standard Fluorimeter

Semi-micro Fluorimeter cells have the same exterior dimensions as the standard cells, but the interior walls parallel to the lightpath are thickened . This makes the interior sample chamber Width 4mm, thus reducing the sample requirements by 60%.

Micro Fluorimeter cells have the same exterior dimensions as the standard cells, but the walls parallel to the light path are thickened even more than the semi-micro. This makes the interior sample chamber width 2mm, thus reducing the sample requirements by 80%

Sub-micro Fluorimeter cells optimize the use of very small volumes (10 to 160 microliters) by using a narrow sample chamber, raising the sample chamber directly into the center of the emission lightpath and masking with black quartz entirely around the sample chamber except for the three windows.
